Senior Occupational Therapist

Aviva is a Senior Occupational Therapist (OT) with over 20 years experience. She graduated with First Class Honours from Sydney University in 2006 and has since worked in the public health system across Sydney and Melbourne. Aviva’s extensive experience spans the healthcare continuum, with particular focus on rehabilitation and expertise in community-based neurological rehabilitation.

Aviva is passionate about empowering her clients to achieve their goals. She adopts a nurturing, professional, and collaborative approach that is grounded in evidence-based practice. Her expertise in a wide range of assessments and intervention modalities, combined with her commitment to multidisciplinary care and effective advocacy, has led to remarkable client outcomes—achievements she celebrates alongside her clients and team.

In addition to her clinical practice, Aviva has been providing supervision for over 15 years supporting occupational therapy students and clinicians. She is dedicated to fostering the growth and confidence of junior clinicians by facilitating collaborative, professional, and goal-oriented supervision relationships. Drawing on her extensive knowledge of occupational therapy frameworks and clinical reasoning, Aviva supports the development of skills that improve professional confidence, satisfaction, and growth.

Outside of work, Aviva enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. A dedicated yogi, she has completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training and enjoys leading an active lifestyle and being in nature.
