Supporting occupational therapists through
clinical supervision, collaboration and
guided professional growth.
ABOUT
THRIVE Collab. supports occupational therapists (OTs) through high-quality clinical supervision, collaboration, and professional development. Our goal is to enhance professional satisfaction, uphold ethical practice, and drive improved client outcomes.
Clinical supervision is essential for professional growth, clinical outcomes, the advancement of the OT profession and individual businesses. At THRIVE Collab. we foster a culture of curiosity, encouraging clinicians to reflect on their knowledge, clinical reasoning, and client care while providing structured and supportive opportunities for growth.
Research shows that clinical supervision is most effective when it is guided by skilled supervisors, it prioritises professional development, and is supported by an organisation that values reflective practice.
Clinicians, teams and practices can truly THRIVE through collaboration, knowledge-sharing and support.
Our Services
-
One on One
THRIVE Collab. one-on-one clinical supervision is a supportive, structured and professional relationship that allows for direct clinical oversight, development and guidance. THRIVE Collab. peer supervision promotes collaboration and knowledge sharing through structured group supervision. Guided peer supervision supports reflective practice, sharing insights, and addressing challenges in order to promote clinical reasoning, clinician confidence and client outcomes. At THRIVE Collab. peer supervision is based on equality and mutual respect among participants.

THRIVE Collab. secondary consultation offers guidance and oversight to support clinical practice of other therapists in direct client work. We provide an additional resource for complex cases, providing specialised input, problem-solving strategies, and evidence-based recommendations to enhance client outcomes and therapist skill, confidence and knowledge at point of care.
-
Education Sessions
THRIVE Collab. education sessions are tailored to provide targeted education aimed at the learning and development goals of the occupational therapists, team and practice.
-
Reports
THRIVE Collab. assists occupational therapists with complex report writing to ensure reports are clear, professional and effectively communicate clinical reasoning and recommendations. We streamline the process, saving you time while enhancing the quality and impact of your reports.
Our Story
The healthcare and disability industries are experiencing growing demand, particularly with an ageing population and the introduction of NDIS.
Australia is also facing staffing shortages in OT. These shortages are part of a broader allied health crisis with many employers struggling to fill vacancies. Recruitment and retention issues exacerbate this problem, which places businesses in a perpetual recruitment cycle. This cycle increases the strain on the available workforce, impacts on client waiting times and places businesses at risk of losing staff, clients and revenue.
THRIVE Collab. was founded to address these issues through provision of high-quality clinical supervision to ensure professional development and satisfaction, ethical practice, effective client care and staff retention. Providing your staff with appropriate support serves to disrupt this retention/recruitment cycle and elevate your business.

Testimonials
Aviva has taken female OTs early in their career under her wing to teach! She allows staff to come up with their own solutions too, but is there to support them. Female staff have felt supported and encouraged to go the extra mile with their clients, and get confident to speak up about their opinions and clinical reasoning.
